Arcadia Wants You to Be Prepared for Any Disaster

Disaster preparedness has always been kind of a vague concept to me. The term brings up memories of huddling under desks in elementary school earthquake drills and fire safety demos where visiting firemen reminded us to ‘Stop, Drop, and Roll!’ over and over. This changed when I began working on my latest article. September is National Preparedness Month and in the course of my research, I learned many practical measures that help you prepare for and ride out a disaster when it strikes. Read all about it in my Arcadia Weekly article.
