I’m really excited to announce that my story “I Carry You Everywhere” is coming out in the Realities Perceived anthology from Left Hand Publishers! “I Carry You Everywhere” is the longest story I’ve ever sold and close to my heart. The anthology comes out at the end of this month (exact date TBA). I can’t wait to share it with you all.

Continuing my W1S1 challenge, I have been submitting pretty regularly to the great Visual Verse Anthology and have just had my sixth submission published on their site! For anyone else doing their own W1S1 challenge, I highly recommend giving Visual Verse a try. It’s a great way to give yourself a boost in the face of rejection. Read my story here.
Well, I didn’t expect it to happen so soon. The flash fiction piece I wrote during Story A Day and submitted last week as part of my Write 1 Submit 1 challenge was accepted! The online zine 200 CCs, a collection that specializes in 200 word shorts bought my piece “Bruises” and it will be published in Volume 2, Issue 2 on August 9th.
This is my first ever published fiction piece so I’m quite excited. In the spirit of keeping things organized, I’ve created a new chart (which I didn’t think I’d need to use for a while) to keep track of my accepted submissions, payments and the rights I’ve granted for them. It is important to keep track of the rights you’ve granted so you know when you can offer your work for reprint projects or if you’re being screwed by a publisher that wants rights in perpetuity without proper payment. Here is my prototype below.
